When did Lavish Nutrition begin and what was the reason behind its inception?
We opened the doors in October 2021, after COVID.
What has been the biggest win over the last few years?
Soon after I opened Lavish, I was asked what is it that I feel I would like to bring with my business. The word that came to mind was Connection. During covid, we experienced a lot of disconnection and isolation, so I would like to make sure that people know that they have a friend and someone who cares for them.
So my biggest win in the past 2 years has been building community and meeting some incredible people and journeying with them through the ups and downs of their life.
What has been the biggest challenge over the last few years?
I wish I had more hours in my day. Being a small business and having a family, we sometimes feel like there is just so much to get done and not enough time to do it!
What was the best business advise you’ve ever been given?
The success of your business will not be because of your business. The success of your business will be because of you.
What’s your favourite thing about Bathurst?
The best thing about Bathurst is definitely its people. We are so lucky to have some incredible people who live in our community.
