Bathurst Regional Council, in partnership with Bathurst Refugee Support Group and the  Neighbourhood Centre Migrant Support Services, invites you to attend a Refugee Employment Forum.

It is expected that more refugees will be settling in our region, motivated to live and work in rural and regional centres and ready to contribute. This Forum will provide useful information about refugees, examine the benefits to your business of employing refugees and consider the available employment opportunities in Bathurst.

Refugees often bring a wealth of skills, experience and an eagerness to participate and contribute. They bring considerable benefits to businesses including:

• Helping you to develop new ways of doing business
• New approaches to innovation and creativity
• A sense of inclusivity and goodwill
• Increasing workplace cultural diversity which is reflected in better meeting the needs of a diverse customer base.
