Country Fruit started out in the 1800’s with the Sharah brothers travelling Bathurst and the surrounding district selling fruit & vegetables from Horse & Carts.  A shop front was established in Keppel St in the late 1800’s and moved to the current site in George St in 1937.

The former owner Craig Sharah is a fourth generation Greengrocer who proudly maintained one of Bathurst’s longest running businesses for thirty years.

The fifth generation of ownership was passed onto local brothers Robbie and Michael Lee who have since passed it onto Blayney Foods who are dedicated to continuing the proud family tradition at Country Fruit.
