Our educational offer does more than cater to our younger generations, with a number of adult learning institutions for those looking for a new skill, a career boost or the qualifications to move into something completely new.

Early Learning

The Bathurst Region is home to a wide variety of early learning providers who are all well equipped to nurture your little one's development. Whether you are looking for long day care, family day care, preschool or prep/pre-kinder, the Bathurst Region has you covered.

Kindergarten to Year 12

Enrich your child's learning experience at one of the 20 primary or six secondary schools provided across our region.

It is no wonder that the Bathurst Region is known as a centre of education. A range of well-established public, Catholic and independent schools are available, all with strong ties to trades, skills and further study opportunities.

Tertiary and Adult Learning

Charles Sturt University and TAFE NSW offer a long list of courses and study options, with strong links between industry needs, education, practical application, employment and career growth. Bathurst is also home to U3A, offering over 50's the opportunity to learn and teach together, and The Australian Massage and Beauty Institute (AMBI), which provides nationally accredited education and training for the Australian beauty industry.
